Spanish
is getting more important in the field of economics
and culture because of the increasing Latin influence
around the world.
By 2001
there were 400 million Spanish-speaking persons around
the world.
Spanish
is getting popular all around Europe and its importance
in the economic field is growing faster than any other
language. Futhermore Spanish is the key to control the
relationships with practically all the countries of
South America.
EE.UU.
is the fifth country in world concerning the number
of Spanish speakers. An ever-increasing number
of University students choose Spanish as his/her
second language. The influence of Spanish in the
American culture and society is a real fact.
By
2050 UNESCO estimates that 25 % of population
will speak Spanish in EE.UU.
Taking
into account all this data it is not surprising
that millions of students prefer to study
Spanish rather than other languages which
were considered classical so far as French
or German.
